Public Participation
The primary goal of the Master Plan study is to create a 20-year development program to maintain a safe, efficient, economical, and environmentally acceptable airport facility for the City of Gainesville, Alachua County, and the surrounding communities. To achieve this goal, it is essential to receive input from key stakeholders, which include the interested public and tenants/customers of the airport’s facilities. Two public open houses will be held during the study, with the first shortly after the initial study elements are completed. Once set, the location, time, and place for the first public open house will be posted on this website.
Submit Comments and Ideas
The Gainesville-Alachua County Regional Airport Authority and airport management welcome your participation in the Airport Master Plan and are interested in your ideas and comments.

Comments should be as specific as possible and, ideally, offer options and solutions to be considered.
Note: Comments should include your name and address. However, be advised that your entire comment - including your personal identifying information - may be made publicly available as part of the final master plan documentation.
